Is the TIN Free?

Yes, FIRS does not charge any official government fees for generating a TIN. However, the process requires navigating portal entries and submitting correct CAC certificates.

Requirements for Corporate TIN

To apply for a corporate TIN after CAC registration, you will need:

  • Certificate of Incorporation (CAC Certificate)
  • Company Status Report / CAC Form 1.1
  • MEMART booklet copy
  • Valid ID card and email of the chief director
  • Corporate utility bill / proof of business address

Filing Process

You can submit these details directly on the FIRS Taxpromax portal. FIRS processes the request and sends the TIN letter to your registered email address within 24 to 48 hours.
